E.F.M. is a medium-sized, internationally active family-owned company specializing in rubber molded components for industrial applications.
For over 44 years, we have been a trusted partner for elastomer-based industrial products. We offer an extensive stock range as well as individually developed custom solutions for technical applications. Our headquarters are located in Schneverdingen, in the heart of Lower Saxony. Its central location between Hamburg, Hanover, and Bremen enables fast and flexible delivery.
History
Founded in 1981 in North Rhine-Westphalia, the company began with the production of specialized rubber components for the automotive sector and transport equipment. Today, the product range is divided into three main areas: rings for conveyor rollers, wheels and rollers for high-temperature applications, and a wide range of technical rubber products.
In 1989, the office and company headquarters relocated to Buchholz in der Nordheide, Lower Saxony. In 1995, the company moved to its current location in Schneverdingen in order to consolidate warehouse and office operations at a single site. In Schneverdingen, E.F.M. gained the opportunity to grow and further develop. As a result, the original warehouse soon became too small.
To accommodate this growth, a second warehouse with office space was built on an adjacent site and occupied in 2006. With these expanded capacities, the company continued to grow and further diversified its business areas.
Products
E.F.M. offers a wide range of rubber products, including support and impact rings, components for star screening systems, spring elements, and wheels for high-temperature applications such as baking ovens. Today, our product range includes several hundred different dimensions, many of which are available from stock. This enables us to provide short delivery times for most orders.
We place great emphasis on manufacturing high-quality products. Low abrasion rates help extend service life and reduce costs.

Research & Development
We are an agile and dynamic company, open to innovative developments and new methods. In addition to our established product range, our research and development activities have been significantly expanded since 2016. In close collaboration with renowned research institutions such as the Institute of Polymer Research in Dresden and the Fraunhofer Institute in Bremen, we have developed advanced materials. From highly abrasion-resistant rubber compounds to materials designed for demanding operating conditions, we offer tailored solutions to meet specific requirements.
